Planting Seeds of Hope in the Digital Space

This website is all about things I have learned in the past years. Being a career practitioner and not a researcher, I will share my personal experiences in a hopeful and reflective way – this includes tips, tricks, lessons after failure – and a couple of digital career interventions and materials I have been discovering and creating in recent years.

That being said, this autumn 2021, I decided to share my experience after a year of pleasure and pain of working remotely during the pandemic. It is part of life’s journey to face challenging times – but we must never lose the light of hope. Leon Brown once said, “sometimes we have to experience the bad so that we can learn to appreciate the good things that enter our life”.

“When the weather is hot, keep a cool mind. When the weather is cold, keep a warm heart.” ~ Ajahn Brahm

For many of us, we are all navigating this (working remotely) for the first time and we are all doing the best that we can for our clients and students. “Digital was our lifeline in 2020, and we are more positive about it since” (Tim Cooper, WEF). We know that digital skills are vital. They are our lifeline!

Life is full of adventures. I’ve learned so many small things during this pandemic – about myself, about life, about my work, my family, others and my community. I’m sure you have, too. I seek to learn from all I do. I enjoy sharing my discoveries with others and hear about theirs. I hope you will come on this learning adventure with me. It will have divergent paths of all kinds: Career Guidance & Career Development, use of digital technology in the Career Conversation, sharing practice and so on.

Welcome on board!
